One of the biggest things that we're missing today in our own circadian biology is movement.

Now, a lot of us exercise and then we go to being sedentary all day and all night,

and then we go back to exercising again.

Most of us need to exercise less and move more.

Joe's an amazing character because he was able to overcome his addiction problems

simply by going to the gym, doing more movement, and changing the state of his mind.

When I was like my worst state, really skinny, I had no energy. I was tired.

I would actually do ***** to actually get energy.

I would wake up to get high, and I would get high to go to bed.

I mean, it was like there was such, so much of my life was just built around consumption of *****.

And I did, I had to deal ***** in order to support my habit.

The problem was I was, you know, destroying my body. I was deteriorating my mind in the process.

I completely removed myself from all my friends, all my relationships, everything related to *****.

I didn't have access to it, and that gave me a period of time where I literally could stop.

I started working out. I got a job at the gym. I started to sign a health club membership,

and I completely changed my lifestyle.

I started exercising, and it was painful, and I was sore, and it took a while to kind of learn what to do.
