So Katie it's my understanding that you are transitioning currently?
Yes.
And how long have you been transitioning for?
Um, actively probably about 15 years.
Um, I would have started earlier but there was, um, the family I was with caused some issues with that.
So, like, yeah about 13 years now I think.
Okay.
And at what age do you recall yourself wanting to do the transition?
Before it happened?
I'm not actually quite sure.
Like, um, I think when I was growing up I didn't actually know that, um, that trans people existed.
I didn't know gay people existed for that matter.

When I was growing up I didn't know gay people existed or trans people or anything like that.
So I sort of just, it never occurred to me that it was possible.
And then at 17 it finally occurred to me, um, that it was possible and since then I've, uh, at that point I started trying to transition.
