Thailand. Millions of tourists travel to the land of smiles every year.
Some tourists come here to worship the sun and enjoy the beaches.
Others come here and do nothing but shop in the huge malls and open marketplaces.
Some come here just to see how other people live and experience Thailand's rich culture.
But most of the tourists who come to Thailand are not here for the beaches, the shopping or the culture.
They come here because of the beauty of the women and because of their friendliness and loving attitudes towards American men.
And that's what our journey is all about.
After arriving in Bangkok, we took a meter taxi to the Sukhumvit Crown Hotel, located on Soi 6, the word "soi" meaning "street".
At the front desk, after showing our passports, signing in, and paying 540 baht, which is around $20, Mac requested two rooms on the second floor.
We entered our rooms and inspected them carefully.
We made sure the TV worked properly, the toilet flushed, and that we were situated on the left side of the building overlooking the trees.
As I stared into the mirror overlooking the bed, the memories of all those sensuous Thai women momentarily caught my breath.
Downstairs, we placed our valuables into the 24-hour safe deposit box.
