We're still adrift at the moment so the ship isn't exactly being piloted but they were not
The ship normally flies entirely on autopilot. I see
Obviously anything could be out there so still need to be vigilant
From here I can monitor all of the ship's external sensors
I can make small adjustments to our position with the maneuvering thrusters if I detect a **** or for example
Or if it's something serious, I'm able to put the whole ship on alert
Most of the time there's not a lot to do
