I guess because I try and give myself

to whatever it is I'm shooting.

I pull things out of my head, and I just throw it out there.

Photos of you modeling suggest that you almost work against your looks,

expressing emotions of anger, even violence.

Rather than the more traditional passive, continuous models.

Why is this?

Maybe it's because for years I was so passive about modeling.

I was basically pushed into it, molded to fit a certain image.

Now maybe I'm letting some of that anger come out through my posing.

What aspects of your work do you dislike?

Um, it's a really cutthroat industry, you know?
