First, and always first, you heat the oven.

A hot oven is a happy oven, and

Take two cups of flour and slowly sift into a bowl.

Then mix with a scant quarter cup sugar, two teaspoons yeast for

a proper rise, and a half teaspoon salt for taste.

Next, slowly heat a half cup of full fat milk for

extra richness, a quarter cup butter,

and two dripping tablespoons of raw,

wild crafted honey in a small saucepan.

Add in the decadent butter sauce to your flour and

start to knead with your hands.

Don't be shy.

Use your palms, knead and

knead until you feel your body getting hot and sweaty.

Add in another cup of fine sifted flour,

and with your flour-dusted hands,

continue kneading.

You need to knead, okay?

Be patient, yet persistent.

And if the dough gets too sticky,

add more of your delicious full fat milk.

And while you wait for the dough to rise, make the filling.

Make sure your quarter cup of butter is soft and

room temperature before you mix it in with a half cup light brown sugar.
