Hello again everyone. Today's live podcast is all about the top video games
to watch out for this spring. But first I'd like to share something I just heard
before turning on the mic. You've all heard me talk about how the coronavirus
has impacted the gaming industry as well as the global economy. It's been a
roller coaster but I can at least share some good news with you today if you
live in Los Angeles, California.
Just before I sat down to do this podcast, I saw a report saying the health officials
finally lifted the restrictions for private gatherings.
It's been 30 days now without any new cases.
They said that they're still working on loosening the restrictions for public gatherings and
that we should hear something in the next few days.
I for one am extremely happy to hear this.
Holy shit!
We crave closeness just as much as anyone.
Now, thanks to our combined efforts, we can finally be close to our loved ones again.
But of course, we have to remain vigilant.
Just because things are going back to normal in Los Angeles doesn't mean we're completely
safe.
There were over 2.5 million cases and 50,000 deaths in Los Angeles alone.
We still have to do our part to stop COVID-19 from making its rounds again.
