Earth, once a beautiful jewel in our solar system, from the majestic mountains down to
the vast blue oceans, is dying.
Again, man has destroyed the one thing we needed most, a home.
Their wars and posturing have polluted our ecosystem with devastating radioactive fallout.
So much so, that there have been documented mutations within the human genome.
With insects no less.
I guess it was just a matter of time until we came to this.
Some insects have been known to survive anything.
This new race, "Shiffs" as they like to be called, is more humanoid than the old movie versions.
Once just dreams, now a reality.
They are able to shield more radioactively, less reliant on air, stronger and more resilient.
I met one. A honeybee in the wastelands.
She was part of a movement to leave this dying world for some place out there.
Anywhere out there, really.
Anywhere that would be able to terraform and make into the new world.
She talked for hours about how a group of scientists had it all worked out.
They had been able to find viable rocket parts to build their own ship.
Only problem was, that it would only hold 8 people.
4 women and 4 men.
Liftoff will start in T-minus 10 seconds.
