Hi everybody. So today's lesson is standing and we're just going to be flowing to how we need to move.
So John's on the hang zone and we're just going to flow to the music.
And this is my new skirt. I might need to tighten it a little bit before I start.
I'm drooping over it. That would be bad.
Okay, so we're just going to flow to the right.
So just shifting the weight up and down. Just lifting the foot up and down.
Up and down. Okay? Shift, shift, shift, shift.
Okay? This works the psoas muscle.
It's that big muscle and it's hard to get it out and walk.
But you really need to get that out the system and get it up into that area.
So this is just an easy move.
Now let's roll the hips a little bit. Roll it over.
Just take your time. It feels kind of funny. Your body's not used to moving that way.
Pretty soon you'll start to feel it in the inner thigh. Kind of where the hip flexor is.
Now we're going to go on the other side.
Roll the other side.
Okay, now back to the center.
Now we're going to slow down.
A little arm movement in there.
If the arm is working, the center of your back.
Now let's keep breathing.
Let's slow down a little more.
Now I hear you feel it working the side of your rib cage.
Keep your abdominals tight.
Your leg muscles engaged.
