So Karen, what do we have planned here?
I see you've got all of your things laid out for the job interview.
Yeah, well, I wanted to start by thanking you so
much for this opportunity to become part of the team.
I didn't even know you had a bakery all these years.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I've actually had a bakery for 25 years now.
Wow.
But we've recently had a position open up, and
I've walked by your apartment and I can smell some beautiful baking going on.
So I thought maybe you would be a good choice.
Yeah, I love to bake.
And speaking of your bakery, I was looking at your menu online and
I noticed you have lots of croissants, muffins, even cakes.
But I noticed one thing you're missing, you don't have any pies.
Actually, you're right about that.
We specialize mostly in the past with French pastries and
with a lot of birthday cakes and anniversaries and stuff like that.
We'll do red velvet cakes, we'll actually do some fudge brownies,
we'll do some of that stuff.
But we haven't traditionally done any pies, but
it's something I definitely would like to add to the menu.
And maybe you can help with that.
Yeah, I would love to.
Pies are my specialty.
So is that what we're doing today is pies?
Yeah, I thought we can make a banana cream pie.
