When you're writing a video art, the important thing is you have to look at each scene as it comes along and say,

"How does this scene fit into the story? How does it move the story forward?"

You have to think it through like a writer, what makes an original story.

And I think what you get a lot of bad in your scripts is people who don't understand that,

and they just translate each line, but they're all asking themselves,

"What does the scene do? What makes it have a positive state in the story for it?"

In the booklet that came with the original US DVD,

Morko's in detail about how he combined his original writing experiences with the insight provided by the creators for things that he didn't understand.

In particular, overarching themes described were the connection between sexual contact and serial cataclysms of death.

In episode 1 and 2, fighting robots would first turn out to be dead after he witnessed Mamimi being sexually frustrated.

This then comes full circle during the show's climax,

when Moko's chicken hearticle becomes the trigger to summon animus out of his head to grasp the germ line.

Even the item itself, which represents the closest thing the show has to an antagonistic horse,

Mokon Kanika, also relates to a Japanese idea that the smarter someone is, the more wrinkles they have in their brain.
