Oh my god, we're back! It's Naked in the Kitchen, finally, after like a month or something,
right? I don't even know, but finally I'm cooking again. So that's cool. So today we're
going to be making, I actually got like a huge donation of like carrots, I have all
these carrots in my fridge and I needed to do something with them before they go bad.
So I wasn't planning on making carrot soup today, but that's what's happening. And for
the first time I've actually prepped some of my vegetables in advance. What a concept,
right? Like a regular cooking show. Mise en place, they call it. Needs to put in place
in French. So I've already chopped my carrots and I've already chopped my onions. So that's
cool. And I'm actually doing a weird recipe here because I'm kind of adapting something
that's supposed to be for an instant pot, which I guess is like a pressure cooker. But
we're going to be doing it on the stovetop because that's what I got. I don't got an
instant pot. So we're going to just make it work, we're going to kind of figure it out.
So the first step in the recipe is to just put everything in the instant pot, but I think
I'm going to first soften the onions in the pot by cooking them with some oil, and then
add everything, and then let it get soft. So yeah, that's the point where we're at.
