We're going to do some stretching, backward stretching today.

And it's important to warm up your joints before you start moving.

You don't want to just jump into things.

Especially the legs because you can very easily cause pain and damage to your tendons.

The hamstrings are the easiest muscles to damage.

And what happens is if you bend forward without having those muscles warm, you get a little tear.

And what happens is you don't really think of it too much, you get a little bit of uncomfort.

And you just keep going.

And without giving that time to heal, then you get another tear and another tear and another tear.

And then eventually that's what leads up to that big tear when you go to do a stretch and things just kind of give out on you.

It's important to warm up. I can't say that enough.

And warm up is just basic mobility.

Windshield wiper.

You need to just get those joints moving.

That's why we have that pain in the area to begin with.

It's because the area is not moving right.

So we're going to lay down.

We just did some windshield wiper there while I was talking.
