Recently, my mother got remarried and we moved from our apartment in West LA out to this
ranch in Mexicali.
He's a nice guy and all, but it's just so different from the city life I was used to.
I'm a couple hundred miles away from my old friends, and it's kind of hard getting adjusted.
It's really country out here, so it's not easy to fit in.
I've started taking some classes at the local JC to try to meet some new people.
That's my new stepsister, Daisy.
Her and her mother moved into the house about two months ago.

I said, "What the hell?"
I didn't know what to expect.
I had never met a trans person before, and now I had a trans sister.
I was a little nervous about her.

I had no idea what she would be like, but then I met her.
She's so normal, so cool, and she's so good looking.

I will say, I got a really cool stepbrother out of the whole deal.

I had no clue what I was getting into when Mom moved us in here, but he's been a lot
of fun.
I was worried he was going to be some hick or redneck, but he's not.
He's a nice guy.
He works at the Granite Corps and he takes classes at the JC I started going to.
