Foster couple Lauren Phillips and Quinton James decide to welcome new daughter Aria Carson into their family just in time to celebrate Thanksgiving. Right from the start though, Aria is rude and ungrateful, often ignoring them, always being on her phone. Lauren and Quinton think she just needs some time to warm up, but when she carelessly ruins the turkey during Thanksgiving dinner, the couple has had enough and are to punish Aria, who ends up replacing the turkey, tied up and ready to be stuffed.

I've been with the foster group for five years now and
I'm really looking for a new family to join.
Every other family I've joined, we haven't really meshed that well.
So I'm hoping to find a family I mesh with and
that they appreciate my individuality and who I am for myself.
Cuz I'm really, I'm a go-getter.
I'm pretty cool.
I've been with like 12 families or whatever.
But it's only cuz they were all just totally didn't know who they were and
who they wanted to be.
And they were stinky and weird and rude and smelly.
Something, I definitely am not any of those.

I would describe myself as somebody who has like exploding personality.
Like it's just, I'm hilarious.
I'm amazing.
At least that's what I think.
Like it could be a negative or a positive, but whatever you think.
But I'm pretty cool.
All I've ever really, really wanted is a Thanksgiving with a family.
Like a real family, like a mom and a dad and I don't know, a dog or something.
Cuz bouncing from home to home, it's like you don't find your place.
And it's all I've ever wanted.
It's just a nice Thanksgiving with God and all his creatures.
