Hi everybody, welcome to today's mobility session.
We're going to do a little flow today. I've got the Mantra Sports Ring, which I'm going to be using just to hold up.
You can use yoga blocks and do the same thing, or a pillow if you want to add a little variety into your workout today.
I've got John on the hand drum, who's going to be doing some music for us to flow with today.
Take this time to let your body flow how you need to flow.
Keep your muscles tight and engaged.
We're going to start in the abdomen and just move in center circles.
Nice and slow.
Listen to your body. If you've got any kind of pain or sharp stabbing, maybe it's not ready to move that way.
Maybe start to move to the center.
I got a little bit of sharp pain on my left leg when I was doing it, so I need to stretch somewhere else first.
You can see that the Mantra holds me up higher. You can also use yoga blocks or pillows.
I'm going to lower down a little bit. Move the ring out just a little bit so I can lower down and stretch my body.
I'm also stretching my shoulder.
Deep breaths. Slowly roll it up.
Lower back down.
We're going to roll up and down a little bit.
Keep your legs engaged. Core engaged. Arm muscles engaged.
If you don't have a ring or yoga blocks, you can do the same thing on the ground.
