As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuhu
So, in hadith 16 of the 40 hadiths of Imam Nawawi, we see a story of a man who came to the Prophet Muhammad
and the man asked the Prophet Muhammad for counselling.
And in response, the Prophet Muhammad said, "Do not become angry."
And the man repeated this question for counselling from the Prophet Muhammad several times
and each time the Prophet Muhammad said, "Do not become angry."
Now, subhanAllah, this is a very good reminder, right?
Often times when one gets angry, there's often physicality involved, you know, punching, fighting and such.
And sometimes words are said that are even more hurtful than the physicality.
And it is best to stay silent in such moments and do not become angry.
And sit down and contemplate and then, God willing, everything will be solved.
And if you are to the point of physicality, I would advise going to rage rooms and putting the physicality there.
But yes, when one gets angry, sit down, contemplate, maybe make supplication to God for the other person and for yourself
and everything will be solved, inshaAllah.
Hope you all have a blessed day.
