We must all put our best foot forward.
There is no room for error.
Everything should be ready before 4pm sharp.
The caterers will arrive at 5 to start setting up,
and you should expect guests to start arriving by 6.
Be on hand to greet them.
You alone will be responsible for the outcome of the evening, good or bad.
