When we first started the business, we signed up with Nextel, because they were the only ones that had the walkie-talkie phones.
So we could just talk to each other all the time and not have to call and track people down.
So they were with a friend of ours at a restaurant over here in Fashion Square the evening that I had my first interview with him.
And he walked in and I was like, "Oh, my God."
So after he left, and he's hung like an old army mule, after he left, I picked up the phone and immediately bounced into Val's,
not even thinking that they might be sitting in the middle of a restaurant in Scottsdale.
With him?
No, they were just having cocktails with friends.
I picked up the phone like, "Oh, my God, you would not believe this guy."
And I was just going on.
And Val finally picked up the phone and said, "We're in the middle of Bar Louis."
