Hey! Today I just want to do a video on how to do a self breast exam while you're lactating.
While you're lactating, it doesn't really change the breast exam. It just, you want
to make sure you have just nursed your ***** so that your breasts aren't too full. And
you want to make sure you do it a week after your period. You might feel some lumps that
are normal. It could be a plugged duct or it could be just a change that your breast
is going through. But if you make sure you do the breast exam a week after your period,
you'll be less likely to encounter those natural lumps that change during the month in your
breast. So anyway, I'm going to lay back and get started.
Okay, what you want to make sure is that you use three fingers and you just want to start
like on the side of your breast closest to your collarbone and work all the way down.
And then you just want to come right back up.
Just filling for any hard lumps.
You can make circles so that you feel all the tissue right underneath your breast.
You just want to cover every area.
Nice and slow circles, feeling right underneath there.
Remember, just three fingers and you want to make just a circular motion.
And then once you finish, that way you want to make sure that you cover right underneath
