Luckily I got increased responsibilities for class, which is a bummer.

During my first job interview after college, they liked to ask what I pictured myself doing in five years.

And I was naive by then.

I answered wholeheartedly in a way that didn't scream "prosperous long-term employee".

After I realized they weren't going to hire me, someone who said they wanted to start their own business, a small bookshop,

or similar, I changed my answer to something more pleasing.
