We're back in the bear den and today I'm going to introduce you to my very special friend,

Bubba Depp.

Some of you may not know, Bubba is actually a little hard of hearing.

He's actually the first guy that I've ever worked with who is hearing impaired.

I wouldn't, I mean, there's a lot of different ways to address whether they're having trouble

hearing or they're deaf and we're going to explore that a little bit today before we

get going.

Yeah, I'm a bear.

And my name is Bubba Depp.

He's very woof.

I'm very talkative and more talkative than bears.

They're larger than me, beefy, furry, all this stuff, manly, beefy.

And I think always bears like more warm, cuddly, and I'm very talkative.

So can you maybe tell us what it's like being hard of hearing and maybe how you've had to

adapt or how you go about meeting guys and being able to get to know guys and things

like that.

Being hard of hearing and deaf is really totally different.

It's different with being around deaf people.

They're completely deaf and they don't speak very well in Japan.

It depends how the deaf people mostly use the library and they feel and they see around
