Follow me through this wonderful lower back and spine opener to reduce lower back and hip pain. This stretch lesson is targeted on the middle spine between the shoulders and the hips.

So, yesterday we did thoracic spine, today we're going to work on the hips to open up

the hips.

So again, we're going to start in the tabletop position, or you can come down onto your elbows.

And we're going to work, just want you to lift that leg back, keep your core engaged.

And we're just going to do eight.

We're opening up the back of that hip.

Two.

Three.

Four.

Five.

Six.

Seven.

And eight.

Back to the center.

One.

Two.

Three.

Four.

Very quickly you feel those glutes start to warm up.

And we're going to come back up to tabletop.

Now I want you to just take a deep breath in, put your hands, fingertips upon wrists.

Deep breath in and you're just going to slowly come down.

And you're going to really feel that in your lower back.

Wow. I didn't realize I couldn't move.

And it's tight in that area because it's seized up.

And that's because we sit a lot or we stand a lot.

And we don't move that area.

Alright, so we're just going to do a couple of these.

You can roll it up.

And gently roll it down.

And you're going to feel it in the abdominals too, so keep your core engaged.

Round it back.

One, two, three.

Seven...

And by the 8th one you should start to feel a little bit looser

A little more flexible

So we're going to bring this one down
